Privacy Policy
Effective 17 October 2026 · Applies to Tickround for Android and iOS
What data the app handles
The checklists, items, notes and settings you create are stored in a database on your device. They never leave it unless you choose to share or export them. The Android app does not request internet access at all.
Data we collect
None. We do not use analytics, crash-reporting SDKs, advertising IDs, cookies or any third-party tracking.
Sharing and exporting
When you use Share or Export all lists as text, the app hands text to the app you pick (for example email or a messaging app) through your phone's share sheet. What happens next is governed by that app's privacy policy.
Backups
On Android, the operating system may include Tickround's data in your device backup to your Google account (Android Auto Backup), and on iOS in your iCloud or computer backup. These backups are run by Google or Apple under their privacy policies, and you control them in your device settings. We have no access to them.
Home screen widgets
Widgets show your lists on your home and lock screen. Anyone who can see your unlocked screen can see that content. You can remove a widget at any time.
Permissions
- Run at startup (Android): re-schedules the automatic list reset after your phone restarts.
- Background work (Android): used by the system's widget framework to draw and update widgets.
Deleting your data
Delete individual lists in the app, or uninstall the app to remove all of its data from your device.
Children
Tickround is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date above.
